Amazing location at the end of a steep rode with a beautiful view of Lake Kawaguchi. Great quiet area for rest and relaxation; yet, just a 15-20 minute walk to restaurants, shopping, and sight seeing. Clear days provide awesome views of Mt Fuji from the lake; not the small house. The chalet has most amenities needed, but needs a remodel due to floor damage from an unnecessary hammock on the living room which takes up too much space. Jacuzzi was not working completely and was shut down due to winter, though having lived in Alaska for 42 years with temps down to -30 below Fahrenheit, thought that’s what jacuzzis were for. Steam room was clean and well enjoyed. Notified owner that portable kerosene heater smelled of leaking exhaust. Very dangerous and should be monitored by anyone using it.

The location was great as we love walking and less than 30 minutes into the centre of town. It was such a quiet and peaceful setting. It was very cold during our stay but the heating available was good.

Very clean and welcoming and the sauna was especially lovely after long days of travel.

Location was serene. It's a very quiet area with amazing views including the lake and mountains. Its not a location if you plan on making noise but very relaxing spot. I stayed with a friend and it was very affordable at the time. I would definitely go back again.

The check in process was so smooth. The property was well maintained and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay there.
